The air shower pass box is an auxiliary device for cleanrooms, primarily utilized for the transfer of small items between two clean zones, or between a clean zone and a non-clean zone. Its purpose is to minimize the frequency of door openings within the cleanroom, thereby reducing contamination of the clean environment. The doors on both sides of the air shower pass box are equipped with either mechanical or electronic interlocking mechanisms, ensuring that the two doors cannot be open simultaneously. Once items are placed inside the pass box, the outer door is closed, triggering the activation of the air shower system. Clean airflow—filtered through a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter—is then projected onto the items from all directions via rotatable nozzles, effectively and rapidly removing dust particles. These dislodged dust particles are subsequently captured and filtered by pre-filters and HEPA filters before being recirculated back into the air shower chamber.
