The DWEX sidewall fan features advanced forward-swept blades and a direct-drive mechanism powered by a specialized low-noise motor. Its square housing design allows for convenient installation on concrete walls, brick walls, or profiled light-gauge steel wall panels; the square rain hood is robust in construction and aesthetically pleasing in appearance. Characterized by low noise levels, high airflow volume, reliable operation, a wide range of performance parameters, and ease of installation, this fan is widely utilized for sidewall ventilation and air exchange in industrial workshops, mines, and various civil and commercial building projects. Depending on the specific requirements of the conveyed medium, the unit can be manufactured in corrosion-resistant or explosion-proof configurations.

The DWEX series fans are typically utilized for sidewall exhaust applications and are equipped with a 45° rain hood (or optionally custom-manufactured with a 60° angle) and an insect screen (to prevent insects from flying into the workshop at night, attracted by the lighting). Upon request, these units can be configured as sidewall supply fans—designated as model DWSP (WSP)—which feature a 90° rain hood (providing protection against wind, rain, and dust) and an insect screen (to prevent insects from flying into the workshop at night, attracted by the lighting).
