Swirl diffusers discharge a swirling jet characterized by a high induction ratio and rapid velocity decay. In HVAC systems, they can be utilized to deliver high-volume airflow with large temperature differentials, thereby reducing the required number of diffusers. These units are suitable for installation in public spaces with high ceiling heights—such as industrial plants, airports, theaters, and bank lobbies—as well as in indoor environments with ceiling heights of 3.80 meters or greater (e.g., conference rooms).
